How to Activate Your Device with an Epic Games Account:
1. Use your device to launch Fortnite. Then a Fortnite page displays. Click on the “LINK AN ACCOUNT” link to continue.
2. A new Fortnite screen displays that includes a code. Once you get the code, open this website link www.epicgames.com/activate in a standard web browser of your smartphone or PC.
3. When you go to the page, enter the code correctly and click “CONTINUE“. Then the Epic Games login window displays. Just sign in using your email address and password. If you don’t have an Epic Games account, click the “Sign Up” button and follow the instructions to create your account.
4. The screens will refresh and you may now continue playing on your device.

When you go to sign in, you’ll be asked to enter the security code from your preferred 2FA method (email or app). After doing so, you’ll be signed into your account. You’ll be prompted for a 2FA security code in the following situations:
